Stars, Stripes and Fireworks

It’s stars and stripes time again, and we’re ready to celebrate Montclair style. Join us at Dolphin Beach for the annual Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. The fun kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Bring your bike down to Henderson elementary school for the annual bike parade. The parade will start at the school and end at the MPOA office. Don’t forget to decorate your bikes in stars, stripes and American trappings. At 6:00 p.m., let the games begin! Head down to Dolphin Beach for a day of music, food and of course, fireworks. Food vendors will keep you stuffed with delicious eats, while a live band will keep the party going with music. At 9:00 p.m., sit back and prepare to witness the most spectacular fireworks show in Prince William County. Remember, fireworks may start early in case of inclement weather, so make sure you get there with plenty of time to spare so you don’t miss the show.

Don’t forget that recreation photo ID’s will be checked at the gates, so make sure that you have your 2017 renewal before the Independence Day celebration. Only two guests per unrestricted ID please.
