10:00 a.m. Annual Bike Parade
Bring your decorated bike and join us in the annual Montclair Bike Parade led by Uncle Sam. 
The parade kicks off at the MPOA Building and ends at Henderson Elementary School.

5:00 p.m. Fourth of July Picnic
Attend the Fourth of July Picnic hosted by the Montclair Lions Club.  Food will be available from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the fireworks.

Route 234 @ Route 1 Commuter Lot Construction

Construction will begin in mid June to expand the Route 234 @ Route 1 commuter lot in an effort to address the increasing demand for parking.  These improvements will almost double the size of the existing parking lot.  Recently, the PWC Police Department has withheld enforcement of violations for parking outside of the designated areas due to high demand in the lot.  However, enforcement will resume during the construction phase in order to allow necessary access.  Vehicles not parked in a marked designated space will be ticketed and possibly towed.

FY2010 Assessment Reminder

Assessments are due in full either at the beginning of the community’s fiscal year, May 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010 or at the first of each month.  The FY2010 annual assessment is $520; however, owners may elect to pay 10-monthly installments of $54 ($52 plus $2 service fee).  Coupon booklets were mailed to owners during the month of April.  If you did not receive a coupon booklet, please call the Armstrong Management Accounts Receivable Department at (703) 385-1455, or call the MPOA office at (703) 670-6187.      

New Beach Parking & Boat Ramp Policy

Effective immediately, per the Board of Directors March 11, 2009 meeting: During the off-season months (after Labor Day until Memorial Day), MPOA beach parking lots will close and lock at 3:30 p.m. Friday and will open at 7:30 a.m. Monday.  West Beach Boat Ramp users will need to use their West Beach boat key in order to access all gates.  During beach season (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day), gates will open daily at 7:00 a.m. and lock nightly at 7:30 p.m.
